Precision Metal Parts From Start To Finish
Vibratory deburring is the most commonly used method of removing production burrs, manufacturing marks, or cleaning parts economically. Offering several forms of media, we can quickly polish, clean, radius, or degrease parts in preparation for final finish treatments. From our 36” Timesaver to our 25 Cubic Ft. Vibratory Finisher, our equipment is designed to provide exceptional finish results on brass, copper, and steel parts. Our in-house deburring capability allows us to better control the finished product and reduce production time.

DEBURRING
Metal deburring is a manufacturing process used to remove unwanted material, such as burrs, edges, and sharp points from metal parts after machining, cutting, stamping, or other metalworking operations. Burrs are the rough, jagged projections, or raised edges, that can form on metal surfaces as a result of these processes.

POLISHING
Metal polishing is a finishing process that smooths and enhances the surface of metal parts to improve their appearance, reduce friction, and prevent contamination. This process involves removing surface imperfections, such as scratches, oxidation, and minor defects, to achieve a shiny, reflective finish.

RADIUSING
Radiusing is a finishing process involving the removal or rounding of the edges of a part. Parts with sharp edges or burrs can be difficult to handle, may be more likely to become stuck in material handling systems and can lead to injuries.
Parts with sharp edges can be radiused to pre-defined specifications with mass finishing equipment. Vibratory bowls and centrifugal disc machines are a couple of the of the best options for radiusing medium size parts.
When metal parts are being prepared for surface treatments, for example powder coating or welding, it is required to have good edge coverage.
Rounded edges and corners to a certain radius make sure that the thickness of the surface is the same as on the rest of the surface. A radius is the angle of the bend, measured between the bent flange and its original position. In the photos below, you can see how well the coating adheres to the part.
CLEANING/DEGREASING
Metal degreasing is the process of removing grease, oil, dirt, and other contaminants from the surface of metal parts. This is an essential step in metalworking and manufacturing to ensure that metal surfaces are clean before further processing, such as painting, plating, welding, or assembly. Effective degreasing improves the quality of the finished product by ensuring proper adhesion of coatings, preventing contamination, and improving overall aesthetics.
